Project Milestones

The milestone system is divided into two tracks:

• Track A: Idea to Live Product follows your progress from creating your project to launching a product or reaching a meaningful traction threshold.
• Track B: Live Product to Revenue follows your progress toward generating revenue and building a company. This track is optional for projects that are not pursuing revenue.

#Track A: Idea to Live Product

Track A contains five milestones that represent key stages in your project's development.

#Milestone 1: Public Commitment

Creating your project on Roburna Builders counts as your public commitment to building. This milestone is automatically unlocked and verified when you create your project.

#Milestone 2: First Working Prototype

A functional prototype exists and can be interacted with. If your project requires blockchain functionality, a prototype deployed on a testnet is sufficient at this stage.

#Milestone 3: First External Users

People outside your team have used your prototype. This milestone demonstrates that your project has begun reaching users beyond its founding team.

#Milestone 4: Sustained Activity (90 Days)

Your project has maintained consistent activity for at least 90 consecutive days, demonstrating continued development over time.

#Milestone 5: Mainnet / Traction Threshold

Your project is live on mainnet or has reached a meaningful traction threshold appropriate for its project type.

#Track B: Live Product to Revenue

Track B is optional and intended for projects pursuing revenue and business development. It contains five milestones that reflect progress toward building a sustainable business.

#Milestone B1: First Paying Customer

Your project has received its first non-refundable revenue from an external customer.

#Milestone B2: Sustained Revenue (3 Consecutive Months)

Your project has generated revenue for at least three consecutive calendar months.

#Milestone B3: Team Expansion

Your project has expanded beyond the founding team.

#Milestone B4: Legal Entity Formed

Your project has been incorporated as a legal entity distinct from its founders.

#Milestone B5: Growth Threshold

Your project has reached a scale metric that demonstrates meaningful business growth.

#How to Unlock a Milestone

Milestone 1 under Track A is automatically unlocked and verified when you create your project. To unlock subsequent milestones, you must submit evidence demonstrating that your project has met the relevant criteria.

1. Open your Project Dashboard and navigate to the milestones section.
2. Select the milestone you want to unlock.
3. Click Submit Evidence to open the submission form.
4. Provide evidence demonstrating that your project meets the milestone's requirements.
5. Submit your evidence for review.

The Roburna Builders team will review your submission. If the evidence is verified, the milestone will be unlocked.

The same evidence submission and verification process applies to milestones under Track B.
